TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading, installing, and using Doodlee ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this App.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
2. LICENSE AND USE
2.1 License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
2.2 Eligibility
Doodlee is intended for use by adults in a relationship. By using the App, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, or that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to do so.
3. YOUR ACCOUNT AND COUPLE CONNECTION
- Doodlee creates an anonymous account for you automatically; you are not required to provide an email address or password to start using the App
- To use Doodlee's shared features, you connect with a partner using a pairing code or invite link; once connected, content you add to your shared space (photos, doodles, messages, profile details) becomes visible to your connected partner
- You are responsible for keeping your device secure, since your anonymous identity and access to your shared couple space are tied to it
- You agree to only pair with someone with whom you have a genuine, consensual relationship, and not to use pairing codes to access another person's shared space without their consent
4. SUBSCRIPTION — DOODLEE PRO
- Doodlee offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, "Doodlee Pro," billed on a yearly basis
- Doodlee Pro unlocks premium features described at the point of purchase within the App (such as expanded gallery/doodle storage, additional drawing tools or themes, and other premium functionality)
- Where offered, introductory or promotional pricing applies only as described at the point of purchase
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Your subscription automatically renews for the same term unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions)
- All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and payment policies
- Purchases are final; refund requests must be submitted to Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policies, as we do not have the ability to directly issue refunds
- We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing or included features for future billing periods; we will provide reasonable notice of any material changes
5. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
5.1 Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use Doodlee to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Harass, threaten, or harm another person, including your paired partner
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or misuse the App outside of its intended purpose
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity when pairing with a partner
5.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of the photos, doodles, and messages you create or upload. By sharing content within your couple's connected space, you grant your partner the ability to view, and where the App allows, interact with that content. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for ensuring you have the right to share it.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- Doodlee, including its design, features, and functionality (excluding user-generated content), is owned by us or our licensors
- You may not use Doodlee's intellectual property without express written permission
- All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved
7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties of title or non-infringement
- Warranties that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost
- Warranties that defects will be corrected
Some jurisdictions do not allow disclaimer of implied warranties; in such cases, the above disclaimer applies only to the extent permitted by law.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of photos, doodles, or messages, or damages arising from your partner's use of shared content.
9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Doodlee relies on Supabase for its database and storage backend, and on Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) for push notifications. Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. These providers' respective terms and privacy policies apply to their part of the service. We are not responsible for outages or issues originating from these third-party providers.
10. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App, disconnect from your partner, and delete your account at any time within the App or by contacting us.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. You consent to the jurisdiction and venue of courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
12. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms of Service are provided in English. Where Doodlee is available in other languages, this English version takes precedence in case of any discrepancies.
